**Role Responsibilities**
- Document Control - Coordinate with others to ensure the proper document control of drawings and other engineering records produced.
- 3D Process Plant Modelling - Manage and organize Al-Pac’s Plant 3D system. Create and maintain templates, catalogues, specifications and act as a resource for other users.
- 3D Scanning - Coordinate scanning projects for maintenance and project activities. Manage the cloud scan database (user access, project creation and organization, uploading and downloading scans and data).
- Engineering Design and Drafting - Create 3D models and 2D drawings both collaboratively and independently.
- Drafting Procedures and Training - Create, maintain and guide procedures and training as related to drafting activities.
**Role Requirements**
- 4+ years’ experience in a design or drafting role.
- Diploma or Degree in a Technology program is preferred. (Engineering, Drafting).
- AutoCAD Plant 3D experience is considered desirable.
- Strong comprehension of engineering, project documentation and records management.
- Registration with ASET considered desirable.
- Knowledge of other AutoCAD programs are an asset (Inventor etc).
- Knowledge of 3D scanning and cloud storage (CINTOO experience an asset).
- Knowledge in piping design and B31/ABSA codes considered desirable.
- Manufacturing, Industrial Plant experience is desirable.
- Ability to prioritize, manage time well, multitask and troubleshoot.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
