As a Health Canada approved importer and manufacturer, we pride ourselves in our ability to Deliver Better Value In this position you will be responsible for administrative procurement duties as well as processing of purchase orders.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Issue purchase orders based on min/max history and requisition
- Assist in investigating and correcting discrepancies between purchase orders, confirmations, vendor invoices, and receiving.
- Comply with all Valuemed policies and procedures
- Maintain and add inventory items into the database
- Manage price increases and price lists
- Investigate and answer product inquiries. Example: lead times, availability, costs.
- Follow up and update data base on aged PO expected dates-expediting
- Performs other duties as assigned by a supervisor

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience
- Business or Supply Chain Management Degree, Diploma, or Certificate (preferred)
- Proficiency in current office software
- Basic knowledge of Supply Chain and Accounting processes
- Excellent critical thinking ability, attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills for varying degrees of urgency
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and teamwork oriented
- Excellent communication and people skills.

**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
