**Position Title**: Assistant Manager
**Location**: Stubborn Goat Gastropub
**Job type**: Full-time
**Salary Range**: $45,000- $50,000 (commensurate with experience)

Legendary Hospitality in the heart of Downtown Halifax are looking for an Assistant Manager to join our team at the Stubborn Goat. We are looking for a passionate hard working individual to join and lead our Front of House teams.

**Responsibilities**
- The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the General Manager by overseeing the daily operations of the venue, including the selection, development and performance management of employees
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining up to date knowledge of all food and drink products
- Responsible for processing cash and electronic payments on a day to day basis, ensuring that they are accurate and balanced at the end of each day as well as optimizing profits
- Work as a team, keep a friendly attitude with coworkers and a joyful composure with guests
- Scheduling employees, hiring and training new employees
- Examining food and beverage presentation and controlling consistency
- Handle escalated customer complaints and be the first point of contact in management for staff and guests
- Ensure that guests are provided with a Legendary experience.
**About you**
- 1-3+ years in the food and beverage industry an asset
- An experience in late night, drink led venues an asset
- Previous experience leading a team
- A working knowledge of cuisine is an asset
- Must be punctual, reliable, have ability to work as a team and independently and have a strong work ethic
- Advanced english language skills
**Work Environment**
- Physical demands include walking and standing, bending, kneeling, repetitive twisting and lifting, and repetitive arm movements
- Be able to work outside for a prolonged period of time
- Must be able to lift 40lbs
- Uniforms and PPE provided by LHG must be worn during work hours
**Work Authorization**
- Must be authorized to legally work in Canada
Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

**Experience**:
