The **Research Assistant** will primarily be responsible for executing health related studies including contact patients to obtain informed consent and administer questionnaires as per defined protocol. This position will involve collection of patient data for various reports. This role will also maintain a high level of confidentiality in all interactions. The Research Assistant must have the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing and the ability to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment.

**Job Status**: Full Time, Temporary (12 months)

**Job Location**: Moncton, NB, Oakville, ON or Montreal, QC

**Application Deadline**: May 9th, 2025

**How you will make an impact**
- Contact patients to obtain consent participate in research study;
- Data entry and general administrative duties;
- Explain study protocol and answer questions from prospective participants;
- Follow up with participants and conduct research questionnaires over the phone;
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all interactions;
- Organize, maintain, and coordinate research data records and files;
- Adverse event reporting as required.

**What you’ll bring to our team**
- Bilingualism - English/French is a requirement;
- **Bachelors degree in a health or science-related field;**:

- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills;
- Proficiency in basic medical terminology;
- Demonstrated knowledge of conducting clinical or health related research studies;
- Experience with patient contact including patient recruitment, obtaining informed consent, study data collection, and quality of life questionnaire administration;
- Experience with study protocols and study document administration;
- Knowledge of, or documented training in relevant privacy laws for healthcare in Ontario and Canada;
- Certification as a Clinical Research Professional;
- Professional/courteous/efficient telephone manner;
- Proven ability to organize time, set priorities, and multi-task in order to;
- Strong communication and Team focus;
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks.
