Revolution boutique is seeking driven individuals that have a passion for fashion and sales to join our amazing team as a Sales Manager

**Hours of Operation**: Monday to Friday 10:00 to 6:00; Saturday 10:00 to 5:00; merchandising performed on Sundays

Managers expected to be on the sales floor for 40-44 hours per week including Saturdays and holidays as required.

**Location **:Stony Plain

**Compensation**:Starting annual salary depending on skills and abilities

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Coach and mentor sales associates as required, to ensure sales goals are being met.
- Embrace the understanding that selling is something we do **for** the client, not **to** the client
- Focus on profitability for the store, while considering customer loyalty and satisfaction
- Communicate and reinforce successful sales processes and strategies to associates
- Ensure optimal conversion of browser to buyer and increase average sales receipt
- Motivate sales associates
- Participate in weekly meetings (currently held on Monday mornings)
- Consistently promote a positive customer experience by building positive relationships
- Complete shift scheduling one month in advance
- Prioritize ‘team Revolution’ over personal interests, in a reasonable manner
- Report to work on-time, and ready to contribute (reliable transportation required)
- Contribute to store objectives despite the fast-paced, environment
- Comfortable multitasking, changing direction quickly and being able to refocus

- Basic understanding of cost/profit/turnover retail practices

- Able and willing to be on your feet for up to 8 hours during a shift
- Able and willing to communicate orally with customers which includes active listening.
- ‘Passion for Fashion’
- 2 years managerial experience considered an asset
- 2 years retail experience considered an asset
- 2 years sales experience considered an asset

Schedule:

- Every Weekend
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- sales: 2 years (preferred)
- Sales management: 2 years (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Edmonton, AB (required)
