**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES**:

- Workflow and Project Management Development: Design and implement robust research project management workflows and instructions that are specifically tailored to the intricacies of product development.
- Team Training and Knowledge Transfer: Conduct comprehensive training sessions for R&D team members to ensure a deep understanding and effective adoption of project management processes.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve our project management processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Creating timelines, milestones, and deliverables to contribute to effective project planning
- Following up on the progress of action items and other tasks and reporting to the project manager
- Supporting team members in completing their tasks to ensure they meet milestones
- Updating and organizing project files, such as meeting minutes and progress reports
- Using project management software to maintain charters and process flows
- Assisting in risk mitigation, identification, tracking, management, and resolution
- Scheduling meetings, conference calls, and project-related events with team members
- Observing the team's performance and providing detailed updates to the director
- Conducting research and gathering data to support project initiatives and encourage good decision-making practices
- Assisting the project manager with budgeting, logging expenses, and filing financial reports
- Facilitating communication among team members and liaising with the director
- Providing administrative support to director when necessary
- Seeking opportunities for process improvements and making recommendations
- Writing and distributing project-related messages, such as memos and status updates
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams that include a diverse range of personalities and skills
- Ensure Occupational Health and Safety compliance with health and safety laws and regulations
- Follow all procedures in compliance of Accuenergy (Canada) Inc standard policy and operation regulations.
- Any other operation-related responsibilities may be added as company continues to grow.

**KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in project management, specifically within an R&D context in the tech or engineering sector. PMP certification is a plus.
- Expert knowledge of IPD and experienced in matrix management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex project portfolios.
- Proficient in using project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and analytical abilities
