**Responsibilities**:

- Manage architects and consultants during preparation of design documents, schedules, and plans to ensure completeness;
- Assist in managing the day-to-day operations and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget;
- Prepare tenders, assist in writing scopes of work specific to plans and specs, analyze bids and prepare bid recaps for Project Manager to review and approve;
- Prepare monthly progress reports consisting of updated budget with accurate cost to complete, updated schedules compared to baseline;
- Review and co-approve progress payments and project invoices;
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documents for the project including drawings, plans, submittals, logs, and purchase orders;
- Maintain, review and follow-up with architects, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers regarding shop drawings, design revisions, RFI’s, change orders, change notices, change directives, quotes and project completion documents;
- Assist with developing and maintaining detailed project schedule with milestones, track trade progress and compare with baseline;
- Assist in implementing, managing and enforcing health and safety;
- Prepare and participate in meetings with project team, architects, consultants and subcontractors. Chair or co-chair meetings as required; and
- Organize and maintain project files and documents. Manage shared document database;

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 3 to 5 years of construction industry experience;
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in construction related discipline;
- Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and scopes of work;
- Exceptional detail orientation, organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing tasks to meet tight deadlines;
- A results-oriented approach with the ability to take action and responsibility;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Able to work independently as well as collaborate with various levels of management;
- Proficient in MS Office and MS Project; and
- Experience with Procore system will be considered an asset.

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$95,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
