Duties & Responsibilities
- Be responsible for taking care of our customers by working as a division leader at Vulcraft Canada East, which includes coaching and developing of maintenance and production teammates.
- Oversee preventative maintenance, maintenance upgrades, and special projects across the division.
- Additional responsibilities will include maintaining the monthly budget for production.
- Work collaboratively with other divisions to achieve the desired results in safety, quality, cost, productivity, and profitability.
- Demonstrate the values that make up the Nucor culture.
- Work a flexible schedule (ex. more than 40 hours per week) which may include a rotating shift.

Requirements & Qualifications
- At least 1 year of formal leadership experience
- Willingness and confidence to have immediate and direct conversations on critical alignment issues such as teamwork, building relationships, initiating, and supporting change, and production process issues that arise.
- The willingness to face adversity and conflict head on.
- Is responsible, reliable, and dependable with work habits and has the ability to hold others accountable for desired results.
- Identifying the developmental needs of others to include coaching, mentoring, teaching, training, or otherwise helping others to improve their skills to work effectively and to reach their full potential.
- Working as part of a coordinated effort to encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members as well as effectively and proactively resolve conflict and teammate issues using a systems approach. This includes thinking of innovative ways to develop and generate talent.
- Ability to identify problems and analyzing or reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options in order to choose the most appropriate solution.
- Knowledge of servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment.

**Preferences**:

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Outlook, Word, and SAP
- Supervisory experience
- 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Must have supervisor and/or manager recommendation and must be able to perform all essential functions of the job
