**MANA is seeking Full-Time Maintenance Supervisor to join our growing team.**

**What you'll do as a ** **Maintenance Supervisor**:

- Lead mechanical maintenance personnel in day-to-day activities to ensure the safe and efficient maintenance of equipment and facilities.
- Investigate, analyze and resolve any maintenance related issues and report findings to the Manager of Maintenance, as necessary.
- Uses time wisely, and is held to tight timelines for repair work; quotes accurate timeframes for required downtime to repair machinery.
- Provide feedback and discipline as required.
- Be responsible to approve time sheets for all hourly mechanical personnel; to ensure their hours of work are accurate and communicate with payroll department for any exception queries.
- Ensure that their employees receive proper training and have the proper skills to accomplish their tasks and identify training needs.
- Interpret company policies to employees and demonstrate positive leadership.
- Ensure all occupational health and safety guidelines are adhered to and appropriate PPE is worn by all staff.
- Ensure and promote a safe work environment and report any unsafe conditions.
- Report all incidents using the event report form.
- Work in collaboration with various departments including, contractors, shipping, mill operations, and upper management to ensure departmental goals are being met and are aligned with the overall goals and objectives of the organization.
- Mentor for existing apprentice, ensuring proper understanding and techniques are used when repairing equipment

**Qualifications**:

- 433A Millwright ticket required with 5+ years experience leading a team.
- Electrician/Millwright Dual Ticket considered an asset.
- Hands on approach to working.
- Able to read and interpret blueprints.
- Able to independently make decisions on what the next steps may be (whether to repair, or replace parts, for example).
- Demonstrate collaborative spirit and initiative.
- Strives for continuous improvement at all times.
- Works safely, and recognizes the need to keep others safe, at all times.
- Communicates clearly and respectfully.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English..

**Work Environment**:

- Exposure to weather dependent temperatures and dusty conditions - Hot working conditions/Cold working conditions
- Constant awareness of hazards in the workplace (i.e Crane Movement).
