**Duties & Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Team Lead, Corporate Accounting, the Senior Analyst is responsible for the coordination, preparation, maintenance and analysis of the General Ledgers. This position is focused on supporting the accounting for the Corporate function’s monthly corporate accounting activities and includes preparing journal entries, maintaining schedules, completing account reconciliations and analysis. Identify, research and implement general ledger process improvements. Responds to ad hoc queries and analysis requirements in support of the financial reporting processes. This position is expected to work with significant independence on standard assignments.

**MUST HAVE qualifications**:
Large company corporate accounting experience, just got their CPA designation or is pursuing one.
- Undergraduate Degree - Commerce, Business or equivalent;
- 3 years or more accounting/finance related experience;
- Excellent computer skills including a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel);
- Outstanding oral and written communication and interpersonal skills combined with a results-oriented business approach;
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several project deadlines concurrently;
- Proven team player, demonstrating a high level of cooperation and mutual respect;
- Share our core values of Integrity, Safety and Respect.

**NICE TO HAVE qualifications**:

- Previous experience with Oracle Cloud Financials / Hyperion Financial Management / SmartView / Essbase
- Individual working towards a professional accounting designation or with CPA designation;
- Working knowledge of US GAAP & Internal Control Principles;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
**Working Conditions**:
Indicate if Travel/OT/On-call is required. Overtime is required during quarter end close periods.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (required)
