**Junior Project Manager - Construction**

**Position Overview**:

- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects
- Track project schedules, budgets, and materials
- Support communication between clients, contractors, and on-site crews
- Maintain organized documentation and reports (digital and physical)
- Perform general office duties: scheduling, file management, data entry
- Help monitor project progress and ensure deadlines and quality standards are met
- Work closely with engineering, and construction teams to refine processes and vet requirements for each project.
- Visit job sites to support on-site project coordination and issue resolution
- Support the needs of the office and assist senior management

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Development**:Create and manage, ensuring processes, timelines, and forecasting align with organizational goals. Determine the scope, schedule, and costs of projects.

**Project Management**: Develop and implement processes, timelines, and completion on schedule for each site, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and to the highest standards.

**Cross-functional Collaboration**: Work closely with engineering, office staff, and site teams to refine processes and requirements for each project. Identify gaps and provide creative and practical solutions.

**Team Leadership & Oversight**:Provide direct oversight and guidance to the Project Manager. Assign projects, monitor budgets, and ensure they meet the expected timeline and quality standards.

**Client & Site Engagement**: Professional and effective communication between all project parties -ensuring both concerns and best interests of the company and construction project from commencement to completion.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field of study
- 3-5 years of experience in construction or office/project coordination and management
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking between all project parties ensuring both concerns and best interests of the company and construction project.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Familiarity with project/construction software, (Microsoft Project) and RFQ’s
- Professional
- Self-starter with a positive attitude and willingness to learn, set and achieve goals
