Communications Specialist

We are looking for a Communication Specialist with exceptional English writing skills. The Communication Specialist is responsible for managing, creating or reviewing all external and internal communications. External customers include sponsors, investigators and patients. He/she works with external and internal clients and collaborators to obtain relevant content and advise them on the message to be communicated. As the communication specialist, you will be expected to keep up with the internal corporate strategy, with meticulous attention to detail, working well under pressure, and meeting deadlines.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible for all corporate communications to pharma and biotech companies (Sponsors), including website news, press releases, newsletters, digital advertising copywriting, etc.
- Propose innovative solutions and ideas, in line with corporate objectives and aimed at the continuous improvement of communications.
- Develop with Marketing collaborators, a communication style guide and ensure high quality and error-free copies are produced.
- Acquire and maintain a detailed knowledge of the company’s policies, principles, and strategies, and keep up to date with relevant developments.
- Act as an advisor to internal clients on how to best communicate to sponsors, clinical research sites and patients.
- Support and evaluate results of communication campaigns with the team.
- Maintain excellent relationships with content owners to ensure efficient information sharing.
- Work in collaboration with HR to assist with the annual communication calendar of internal publications and other employee communication tools (including bimonthly town hall and weekly newsletter).
- Update, animate and optimize the company's website (intranet) and be an important contributor to internal social networks such as Yammer.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team in the development of the employer brand and employee experience.

**Requirements**:
**IDEAL PROFILE**

**Education**
- Bachelor's degree in communication, journalism, public relations or a related discipline.

**Experience**
- Minimum 3 years of experience in communication or any other experience deemed relevant.
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience.

**Knowledge and skills**
- Demonstrates creativity, rigorous, and discernment and is a team player.
- Recognized for their ability to establish action plans in line with corporate objectives.
- Interest in sciences and knowledge of clinical research an asset.
- Excellent ability to maintain interpersonal relationships.
- Excellent communication, copywriting and English and French writing skills.
- Mastery of the MS Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Maintains and demonstrates at all times a positive, professional and customer service-oriented attitude (internal and external).
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail.

**Work location**
