We are looking to fill a permanent, full-time position for a **Bilingual** **Customer Service Representative **at Richelieu Hardware Ltd.

Reporting to: Supervisor, Customer Service

**Position overview**:
Responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our valued customers and consumers at a variety of levels. Actively involved in the day-to-day administration of sales related activities within the organization including support to our sales and marketing team members. This is an in-office position in our Ottawa office.

**Key areas of responsibility**:

- Day-to-day administration within the department including interaction with assigned customer accounts. Back up other team members as required.
- Review, process and troubleshoot pending customer orders to ensure accurate shipping, invoicing and timely delivery to customers.
- Administer customer requests and proactive problem solving
- Validate and process shipping error claims
- Product returns
- Process credit requests
- Update account resource documents and maintain account knowledge for assigned accounts, i.e. customer agreements, discounts & allowances, pricing, and product offering
- Provide support to internal departments throughout the organization
- Coordinate catalogs, sell sheets & marketing related materials including samples to customers, sales team members and Rep Agents when required
- Ad-hoc sales reports

**Requirements**:

- Must be bilingual, fluent in the English and French languages
- Strong communication skills, team player, detail oriented, a problem solver, customer focused
- Work experience in B2B environment (2-3 years)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Familiar with order entry processes and procedures; (EDI / AS400)
- Self-Starter
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential
- Independent in carrying out daily tasks
- Willingness to take initiative
- Strong time-management skills, accuracy, and the ability to prioritize workload
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
