Working in collaboration with Academic Excellence and the relevant Schools and Departments, under the direction of the Learning Technologies (LT) Lead, you are responsible for supporting for the digital learning ecosystem at NAIT, responding to LT administration needs during the academic cycle. The role identifies and supports the LT needs of the NAIT community and contributes to broader training initiatives of the unit. This position is also expected to build and maintain relationships between the LT team and their associated portfolio.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Learning technology administration:

- Responsible for LMS course site creation and administration
- Ensure working solutions & processes are documented and current
- Learning technology support:

- Collaborate with LT team to identify, evaluate, implement & support learning technologies
- Respond to support inquiries related to the learning technologies ecosystem
- Provide training and support documentation for learning technologies and related processes
- Relationship management:

- Give personalized advice, build rapport & provide quick responses to inquiries
- Collaborate to resolve identified learning technology challenges
- Promote & maintain a positive relationship with clients in your assigned portfolio
- Refer users to experts & resources to resolve learning technology issues

**Skills & Abilities**:

- Significant knowledge of learning management systems, the types of resources, support and processes typically used for resolving learning technology issues.
- Knowledge of learning technologies and how they are used to enhance instruction.
- Ability to learn new technologies and software.
- Ability to produce high quality, highly detailed written documentation to support users
- Ability to coach and mentor staff in the use of learning technologies.
- Strong oral and written skills, interpersonal and customer relations skills.

**Qualifications**:

- Related Post-secondary certificate and/or diploma
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in an LMS learning environment
- Experience supporting learning technology users
- Experience supporting course development

**Remuneration**:$1,806.03 - $2337.26 Bi-weekly (classification: Administrative Support V)
- This position is covered by the AUPE (Alberta Union of Provincial Employees) Collective Agreement._
