**Information Technology (IT) Technician**:
The Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District (ACRD) is currently recruiting for a permanent full-time Information Technology (IT) Technician to join their team of professionals. Reporting to the Manager of Information Technology, the IT Technician will be responsible for supporting the ACRD’s computer infrastructure and systems. This position is responsible for providing first level help desk, computer and telephone support to users of the ACRD systems. The IT Technician will work under general supervision with latitude for exercising independent judgment. This position works collectively with all employees of the ACRD, to ensure the delivery of efficient and quality services.

The ACRD is situated in the heart of Vancouver Island. It includes the municipalities of Port Alberni, Tofino, and Ucluelet and the Treaty Nations of Huu-ay-aht, Uchucklesaht, Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ, Toquaht and six electoral areas, all-encompassing the West Coast’s most dramatic and majestic landscapes.
