Because why not do it all? **WHAT TO EXPECT** The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and administration of the overall site's IT Infrastructure. The System Administrator performs a wide variety of technical duties which include, but are not limited to analysis, installation, modification, documentation, maintenance, problem diagnosis, and repair of all hardware systems used locally as servers, storages, Backup, network, time management and entry control devices, industrial PCs, desktops, handhelds level, printing, publishing and communications equipment. **RESPONSIBILITIES**: Technical Services and Support: - Work incidents, service and change tickets as assigned by Helpdesk and IT Infrastructure Service Management. - Perform immediate troubleshooting as the situation dictates for any systems operated in the facility. - Install, configure approved software and as required de-install or decommission legacy systems. - Provide IT related technical assistance to all end users working in the facilities or remotely. - Provide hands and feet support to Corporate IT and outsourced IT services providers. Maintenance and Administration: - Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments including computer hardware, - Conduct daily performance checks on all systems in use in the facility (CPU utilization, system logs, and system errors, others as required). - Create Incident or change tickets for any corrective action taken for daily checks. - Perform system maintenance following standard operating procedures on any systems requiring patching and upgrading. - Perform security assessments and audits following standard operating procedures. - Communicate emerging issues, potential risks, and audit results to key stakeholders. - Implement corporate systems security measures and policies to protect data, soft - and hardware assets. - Perform all aspects of the site related IT Assets Management duties. - Adopt, enforce and continuously improve the Gates Corporate IT Incident-, Problem-, Change-, Assets - and Service Delivery Management processes. - Represent the site on corporate IT programs and coordinate with corporate IT to execute the site's related IT initiatives. - Assist in developing and managing the site specific IT budget. **QUALIFICATIONS**: - Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or relevant experience and 3-5 years' specific experience in related technical roles or 6 years of specific experience in related technical roles - Experience working in a manufacturing environment - Qualifications \ Experience in Microsoft \ Cisco desired **REQUIRED SKILLS**: - Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point). - Working knowledge of PC hardware - Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, and related network services (i.e. DNS, SMTP, DHCP, etc) - Basic understanding of Active Directory concepts and administration - Ability to support a variety of WiFi-enabled devices such as bar-code scanners - Ability to analyze information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems - Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical people - Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high volume production environment. - Ability to work independently or in a team. - Takes initiative, self-motivated. - Ability to interact with various levels of the organization. - Ability to build credibility and trust within the organization. **WHY GATES?** Founded in 1911 in Denver, Colorado, Gates is publicly traded on the NYSE.
