**Responsibilities**:
**Who are we looking for as a Service Technician? Patterson Dental is looking for a worker who is interested in the field of bio-medical (dental) device and equipment repair.**:
Service Technician Overview: As a Service Technician, you provide repair and installation on a variety of dental equipment and products. The Service Technician learns and follows manufacturer guidelines relative to the repair of devices. Training is supplied by mentorship program with the branch technicians, manufacturers and online training courses. Why join Patterson? **Essential Functions**:

- Determines the equipment, parts, supplies or tools needed to complete the install and service requests.
- Relays any special problems to Service Coordinator following each call.
- Ensures that standard response times committed to the Service Coordinator are met.
- Loads, delivers, installs, specs and trains customers on the use and basic maintenance of equipment sold.
- Learns and follows specific manufacturer guidelines for equipment installs and troubleshooting.
- Completes all required paperwork (time sheets, service orders, BRH forms, inventory, expense reports and/or purchase card statements or equipment related items).
- Returns defective modules assemblies or parts to the local office and labels items.
- Ensures proper vehicle maintenance and safe driving habits are followed.
- Manages vehicle inventory and restocks as necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Job qualifications**:

- Diploma in electronics/electromechanics, or any other relevant experience.
- Valid driver’s license and in order required.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Motivated team player and good manual skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in repair field in a dental/medical environment.
- Carpentry/plumbing/heating/electricity/electronics related experience is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in French and English.
