**Role Description**:
As our **Business Development Manager**, you’ll play a key role in identifying and securing new commercial projects, building relationships with industry partners, and driving revenue growth. You’ll be the face of our business in the field: a connector, closer, and trusted advisor for our clients.
- **This opening requires a valid BC driver’s license.**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial and institutional sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, property managers, interior designers, architects, developers, and homeowners.
- Generate and follow up on leads through outreach, networking, referrals, and inbound inquiries.
- Conduct site visits, client meetings, and project walkthroughs.
- Collaborate with estimators to prepare accurate and competitive bids and proposals.
- Manage a sales pipeline through CRM tools, tracking activity and follow ups.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
- Work closely with the leadership team to align sales strategy with company goals.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **2 - 5+ years of experience** in B2B sales, business development, or account management (construction or trades industry preferred.)
- Proven ability to generate leads, build relationships, and close deals.
- Strong understanding of the commercial construction and tendering process.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized and self-motivated with strong time management abilities.
- Comfortable using CRM software.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (local travel required.)
- Knowledge of painting, coatings, or related building trades is considered an asset, but is not required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $65,000.00 per year
