**ORGANIZATIONAL PROFILE**
The Government Finance Officers Association of British Columbia (GFOABC) is located on Victoria. Established in 1989, GFOABC’s membership is comprised of over 1,000 members representing 160 Municipalities and 28 Regional Districts in the province. GFOABC is a non-profit organization that represents local government finance professionals across BC.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Manager, Member Services and Communications elevates, advances, and fosters member relations and GFOABC communications required to promote, support, and encourage excellence in local government finance. Through inclusive collaboration and thoughtful engagement with colleagues, members, and partners, the Manager utilizes innovative communication tools and resources to enhance and support the member services experience. This position works collaboratively with the Manager, Professional Development & Education, to ensure that the work of the Association is focused on service excellence.
- secondary degree or diploma in business administration, public relations, communications, or marketing with demonstrated experience delivering member or customer service excellence. The position requires the ability to develop productive, respectful member relations with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- The salary range for this position is: $60,000 - $80,000 plus Municipal Pension Plan and Benefits _(This_ _is_ _a_ _temporary_ _12_ _-_ _month_ _contract)_
