**Missions and Responsibilities**
The main objective of this position is to prospect, develop and maintain business opportunities to promote growth within key targeted market segments for the Metal Fabrication business unit.

The incumbent is responsible for entertaining a detailed understanding of industrial customer needs and Air Liquide’s organizational capabilities to formulate innovative business solutions to meet customer requirements while delivering on profitability targets. The incumbent supports the sales efforts by providing core Air Liquide solutions and promoting products and services. The Specialist, Business Development will support the regions as well as develop their own client base.

Offers commercial support and required guidance to customers and ALC employees to extract the best shared value from developed relationships. Leads commercial function and cross team interaction in matters related to agreement development, implementation and renewal. Contributes actively to knowledge transfer within the team. Is responsible for developing and updating commercial pipeline in Salesforce as well as contract dashboard related to customer portfolio.

**3**. **Creates and maintains customer relations**:
Maintains relationships with new and existing business and technical contacts in the industry; raises awareness to ALC on customer portfolio in order to create shared understanding and capture operational efficiencies where appropriate.

**4**. **Safety/Quality**:
Actively promotes ALC’s safety and quality objectives. Conducts behavior safety visits (BSV) and proposes accident prevention techniques (APT) related to the industry. Knows and respects all procedures related to the field of Metal Fabrication.

**Competencies and Profile** Training and Knowledge**:

- **Diploma**: Bachelor degree in business administration, Marketing, Commerce.
- **Training**: PSS, Value Added Sales.
- **Knowledge**: Bilingual French-English, Industrial distribution experience, Gas distribution experience, oral and written communication skills.
