The Account Development Manager will be responsible to represent General Mills and to secure the maximum profitable sales volume and product distribution for the entire line of Grocery Products within the limits of established policy and guidelines to all assigned accounts.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
Delivers Volume, RNS, Trade & Profit Commitments
Delivers against Sales, Trade, and Profit targets
Deliver against all administration tasks, both internal & external (contracts, costing changes, internal feedback etc..)
Identifies customer-specific strategic initiative opportunities, leveraging analytics and financial acumen (recos) and works to operationalize both internally and externally.
Plans both Externally & Internally
Plans prescriptively by banner for merchandising conditions
Provides promo level forecasting and right-sizing
Leads key negotiations with customers
Sells to the Customer
Works to build General Mills customer penetration and influence. (relations, customer loyalty programs, new business - ECOM)
Sells-in NPI, In/Outs, and product related changes
Sells in and executes trade strategies inclusive of SRM
Manages from Sell-In to Execution
Lead event execution from initial opportunity through to final event (participating items, consumer/customer offer, tribute feedback, POS execution, SPPK confirmation, retail feedback)
Completes requirements for assigned account(s) i.e. deal sheets, promotional executions, and customer presentation decks
Ensure deductions are cleared (customer)
Executes clear-outs when possible
Brings forward customer specific requests (product, SPPK, activity etc) to BU

**RELATIONSHIPS**:
Communicate to Manager and cross functional partners (Sales Finance, MRSM, Customer Supply Chain, Demand/Supply Planning) all details relative to assigned accounts, promotional activity, product distribution and other pertinent information including account changes and competitive activity.
Regular communication with Financial Analyst and Customer Service Representatives is required to ensure consistent business transactions.

QUALIFICATIONS

University Degree, preferably business - related
3 - 5yrs experience in sales and business development
Valid Driver’s License

SKILLS REQUIRED

Ability to work effectively with multiple levels of management and external customers
Analytical and Problem solving skills
Ability to Influence/Lead Change
Required knowledge Microsoft operating system
