Job Title: Project Manager

Qualifications:
Experience in Biotechnical Stabilization, Utility Crossings, Water Diversion, Streambank Protection and River Restorations.

Minimum 5 years of experience supporting Project Managers in the delivery of Civil projects.

Familiar with industry Codes of Practice, Permitting Bodies and Standards of Construction for Civil Construction in Alberta.

Ability to maintain environmental practices and follow Best Management Practices which adhere to standards set out by various regulatory bodies.

Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills.

Team player-willing to work with others and demonstrates a willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.

**Requirements**:
Ability to successfully manage heavy workloads with multiple priorities.

Possess a valid Driver’s License

Possess appropriate safety certificates such as First Aid, CSTS, and H2S Alive. Ground Disturbance II is an asset.

Scope of Responsibilities:
Projects valued from 1-2 million dollars.

On a daily basis, direct field operations.

Support cost control, proper coding and managing project within budget.

Prepare rental documents for various pieces of equipment

Initiating and maintaining correspondence with Owner, Architect, Engineers, sub-trades and suppliers.

Act as a liaison between clients and accounts payable.

Developing successful relationships with current and prospective clients, consultants, realtors, and developers.

Attending and/or coordinating site meetings.

Assisting in the completion of project deficiencies.

Ensuring there is a continuous focus on site safety in accordance with regulatory requirements as well as our Corporate Health and Safety Policy.

Keeping a daily log of site activities on the project including by not limited to: All trades and number of personnel/trades, description of work, weather, and safety hazards or issues.

Assist in the preparation and submission of proposal packages and cost estimates.
