**What you'll be doing...**

**What you'll bring to the table...**
We value lifelong learners and have found the following combination of education and experience allows people to be successful in this role:

- Strong understanding of internal controls and knowledge of trending cyber risks in Accounts Payable
- Experience with computerized financial systems in a mid-to-large sized organization; experience using automated AP software, JD Edwards and/or Hubble software an asset
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (experience in public sector accounting preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Strong reconciliation and analytical skills, and knowledge of data collection and analysis methodologies
- Strong critical thinking skills with a proven ability to solve problems independently
- Experience with the treatment of GST & PST as it relates to accounts payable
- Experience working in a unionized environment is an asset
