Campus Store Inventory Coordinator

Founded in 1979, Columbia International College (CIC) is the largest boarding high school in Canada. During our 45 years of history, parents from over 120 countries have placed their children in CIC’ care.

CIC offers the Total Care Education System to support students to achieve their goal of getting into a post-secondary institution of their choice. Our Total Care Education provides services that can support international students to meet their Academic, Social, Emotional and Physical needs.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Design and implement an inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures across the organization
- Monitor and analyze inventory reports to identify discrepancies or opportunities for cost savings
- Receive, count, and record incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare restocking and replenishment plans for the campus store to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Conduct regular inventory/supply counts and audits to ensure alignment with system records.
- Prepare detailed inventory/supply reports, documenting counts, discrepancies, and relevant statistical data.
- Analyze inventory/supply statistics and provide recommendations for improving inventory control processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained
- Manage system input from all departments to streamline inventory control throughout the organization
- Assessing and improving flow of supplies through company
- Ensuring all documentation related to inventory flow is complete, accurate, and filed correctly
- Identifying, analyzing, and addressing gaps in inventory processes
- Support retail operations as needed, including assisting with merchandising, sales, student inquiries, uniform fitting, and printing ID cards
- Ensure compliance with inventory management policies and procedures to maintain accurate records and minimize discrepancies.
- Collaborate with management and suppliers to resolve inventory/supply -related issues and improve operational efficiency.
- Perform other duties related to the campus store as assigned.

- Physical ability to lift and move items as needed.
- Team-oriented with the flexibility to support retail operations.
- Great customer service skills for retail support
- Hold a valid driver license preferred (requires transporting goods time to time)

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in business, supply chain management, or related field is required
- Previous experience in establishing and managing and inventory management system
