The Inventory Coordinator is employed to develop and implement all policies, procedures, systems and best practices with regards to Packaging and Ingredients inventory, for the purpose of maintaining accurate financial information. Through a daily analysis of the Company's current inventory levels and transactions they identify any anomalies, making correctional recommendations either in house or with regards to third party storage facilities. The Inventory Coordinator maintains inventory control records, reporting them to management on a regular basis.

**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Perform daily inventory cycle count analysis
- Corporate liaison to 3rd party warehouse to monitor inventory movement, (i.e. Packaging and Ingredients)
- Resolve inventory variances across multiple warehouses
- Daily inventory reconciliations between SAP and Production systems
- Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity.
- Maintaining product identification and location program.
- Researching inventory discrepancies and making necessary adjustments within the SAP system.
- Manage the inventory control function at the plant.
- Assist and Coordinate physical inventories, cycle counts, receipt audits, and reconciliations daily, weekly, monthly and yearly.
- Resolve inventory problems in a timely manner.
- Document and control aged product.
- Maintaining inventory accuracy metrics and associated reports for management. Coordinate and Integrate efforts across operational departments to enhance inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate special inventory transactions with other departments.
- Monitor and review all inventory transactions with 3rd party warehouse to identify process improvements.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs as part of the job function.
- Co-ordinate US loads and complete CFIA required paperwork
- Assist in leading monthly training for materials team

**REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**:

- 2-3 Years of Inventory Coordinator experience working in a Distribution Center in the Consumer Products industry
- Experienced and comfortable working with large sets of data
- Strong working knowledge of Excel (including pivot tables, vlookups)
- Analytical skills necessary for identifying and determining the root cause of inventory variances
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and report research findings in a timely and professional manner
- Strong communication, multi-tasking, organizational, problem solving and time management skills
