**Human Resource Manager (Labour Relations)**
The **Human Resources Manager** reports to the Senior Director HR & LR. The incumbent of this key position requires the confidence and demonstrated experience to provide support in a diverse and in-depth range of Human Resources Consulting services, including labour relations, managerial coaching, employee, training and development, staffing, employment law, organizational development and compensation and benefits.
Location - **Richmond, BC (**#LI-Onsite**)
**Your role within the team**:
- Provide HR and LR leadership, coaching and advice to support the Operational leadership team on all people-related matters.
- Coach leaders to create a work environment that fosters diversity, inclusion and wellbeing.
- Develop and implement strategies to maintain ongoing communication and positive Employee and Labour relations.
- Manage the administration of the collective agreement - grievance process; prepare documentation for mediation or arbitration, as required.
- Support the collective bargaining process. Ensure the timely communication and implementation of collective agreement changes.
- Facilitates joint labor-management committee meetings.
- Participate in special projects, including the deployment of various Human Resources initiatives.
- Provides client support in recruitment and selection.
- Deliver various training sessions to client group(s).
- Periodically undertake special projects for PROTRANS BC as a project leader or project team member.

- Expected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $99,400 - $136,600 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
- A minimum of 7-10 years of related experience in both non-Union and union environments.
- Work experience may be complemented by post-graduate education in Business or Industrial Relations.
- Degree in Human Resources and/or Industrial Relations preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of collective bargaining, investigations, grievance and arbitration processes.
- Strong communication skills (Written, verbal, and listening).
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working partnerships.
- Proven ability to collaborate, negotiate, facilitate, and resolve conflicts.
- A proactive approach to customer service and relationship building with all levels of employees.
- Ability to multitask, embrace new knowledge and think in terms of a corporate-wide perspective.
- Flexible, adaptable, and resourceful, and not dependent on structure and established processes - someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, who can also balance governance issues with operational needs.
- Advance knowledge in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Able to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
