Westbury Construction Ltd is looking for a hard working and responsible individual that has the knowledge and skill to run a renovation job with some guidance. The individual will have to be able lead a team on site and help coordinate sub trades and materials. Must be able to work well with others and self motivated to work by themselves depending on jobsite, size of job, and scope of work.

Must have a vehicle and own tools as jobs can vary to out of town. Westbury Construction is based out of London Ontario, but covers surrounds cities such as St Thomas, Strathroy, Stratford, Woodstock, etc.

The scope of work can vary from demo, framing, drywall, kitchen installs, decks, flooring and any interior renovation,

**Job description**
- Skilled Carpenter / Project Lead with minimum 3 plus years experience in general carpentry / renovation / framing
- Blueprint reading and interpreting
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills
- Self motivated and hardworking
- Customer service skills
- Proven leadership and time management skills, managing staff (delegating job tasks and working effectively as a team)
- Managing or working with subcontractors
- Co-ordinate construction projects independently
- Knowledge of job site safety rules and regulations (Occupational Health and Safety)
- Flexibility when overtime is required
- Wage is negotiable
- College or technical training an asset; Red Seal Carpenter, Building Construction, or Building Renovation Technology programs

**Salary**: $25.00-$32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- renovation experience/ finish carpentry: 3-5 years (required)
- project lead / site management: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- drivers license (required)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
