Angi is an amazing place to build your dream career, join us—we cannot wait to welcome you home **About the role**: We have a cutting edge Search Engine Marketing team with high business impact and visibility, 9-figure budgets, dedicated support from Google and Bing, and wide-open opportunities for growth. We are looking for a strategic SEM leader with strong analytical prowess to help take our SEM business to the next level. The SEM Manager will play a key role in Angi's latest strategic tests and executions. Specifically this role will work under the SEM Special Projects team, leveraging their SEM management experience and analytical expertise to drive development and implementation of new strategic initiatives. We partner with tech, data science and the SEM managers to bring scalable efficiencies to the business. Reporting to the Director of SEM Special Projects, this person will be responsible for implementing the latest strategic initiatives from ideation and partnership with external teams to designing/testing process for implementation and reporting and tracking progress. In many ways this role is the intersection of a SEM Manager, a Data Analyst and a Product Manager. **What you'll do**: - Manage the day-to-day operations for our paid search strategic initiatives including project tracking and analysis, execution and communicating progress to external parties. - Leverage SQL, Looker, Microsoft Excel and Google slides/sheets in your day to day activities. - Partner with Data Science, marketing analytics, product managers and engineers to develop and implement scaled technology solutions. - Create a roadmap for continual innovative testing and ongoing optimization to drive efficiencies and achieve performance targets. - Obsess over data. You will analyze performance metrics from internal database tools, third party systems, APIs, and data feeds to drive growth in profit. - Think big picture, you will prepare, analyze and communicate performance metrics for completed projects to the team and key stakeholders across the business. - Demonstrate flexibility in a constantly changing search ecosystem and stay apprised of latest trends and best practices. **Who you are**: - 4+ years managing SEM campaigns; ideally large-scale programs with consumer - focused experience. - Excellence in quantitative and qualitative data analysis - SQL Competency - Excel Power user - Expertise in being able to summarize results for external partners from engineering teams to executive level audiences - Comfort working with large ambiguous challenges - A track record of taking ownership over projects and helping them succeed. - A bias toward action: preferring to work in a fast-paced, agile environment. - A sharp analytical mind - Home Services industry experience is a plus **We value diversity** We know that the best ideas come from teams where diverse points of view uncover new solutions to hard problems.
