We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic individual to join the PBI sales team as an Inside Sales Representative. The Inside Sales Rep will contribute to our team’s success by making successful connections every day with new prospects and inactive accounts. In this role you will be the frontline for the outside and CSR sales teams by actively prospecting by making phone calls, following up on incoming leads, updating the CRM program, and providing valuable leads and opportunities to the outside sales team. You will manage all leads generated by our marketing efforts and turn qualified leads into sales opportunities. In addition, you may, from time to time, be responsible for qualifying and closing small accounts, some of which may require outside selling.
**Major Responsibilities**:
- Make prospecting phone calls to develop new business
- Execute all follow-up efforts to our direct mail marketing programs in accordance with the plan and schedule developed with the Sales Manager
- Diligently manage a pipeline of new business and build strong relationships with prospective clients
- Research, develop and further qualify sales leads to turn them into qualified opportunities and ensure a smooth transition to an outside sales representative
- Create and manage profiles of prospects in a CRM program: ensure all client leads and prospects are entered, validated, followed up on, and analyzed to ensure all lead flows, triggers, lists, and relationships are being managed and maintained
- Ensure outstanding customer service is provided by developing rapport and strengthening relationships with key customers
- Forward all requests for quotes or proposals to the Sales Manager to arrange for pricing and follow-up
- Track and manage all metrics related to prospect calls
- Achieve sales targets for new and repeat business
- Work closely with the Sales Manager to identify opportunities to improve our marketing efforts and messaging to our customers and prospects
- Monitor, evaluate, and make recommendations with respect to lost sales opportunities to continually improve upon sales results
- Learn the commercial printing industry and become knowledgeable in as many aspects of print production and finishing as possible in order to instill confidence with every client that PBI is an industry expert
- Attend weekly sales team meetings and contribute as required
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members and those contacted within the course of the work day
- Represent PBI in a positive manner in all interactions with prospects, customers, suppliers, and coworkers
- Take advantage of any and all opportunities to learn and improve your skills as a professional sales representative
**Qualifications and Requirements**:
- Ability to be personable but also persuasive over the phone and in person
- Highly effective interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Positive and energetic with high energy and a drive to succeed
- Forward thinker, with the ability to bring new ideas to the company
- Previous B2B sales experience preferred; ideally in the print, design, or marketing industries
- High school diploma required; University degree or College diploma preferred
- Strong organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
**Physical Demands**:
There may be long hours sitting, using office equipment such as computers, and bending into filing cabinets.

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
