As we expand our national footprint we are looking for a motivated, detail driven Sales & Customer Development Representative to support our 2026 ambitions.

Role Overview

This hybrid role blends inbound account service, outbound prospecting, and strategic customer management. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Supporting current retail relationships
• Building new specialty and distributor opportunities
• Managing customer requests and order flows
• Executing outbound follow-ups, seasonal program calls, and sell through initiatives

This role is ideal for someone that 'rolls up their sleeves', brings curiosity, professionalism, and the ability to thrive in a fast moving artisanal food company wholly based in the Niagara region.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management & Customer Experience

• Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound customer inquiries, product information, and order support.
• Manage day-to-day key accounts
• Coordinate new item setup, promotional submissions and seasonal program execution.
• Monitor customer satisfaction, resolve service issues, and ensure timely follow-through.

Outbound Sales Development

• Conduct outbound calls to existing and prospective specialty retailers to drive new listings, replenishment orders, and seasonal opportunities.
• Support national initiatives (gifting, innovation launches, seasonal offerings) through targeted outreach.
• Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of independent retailers, distributors, and gift partners.
• Track call activity, follow-ups, and conversion outcomes in CRM.

Business Support & Sales Operations

• Prepare sales materials, selling decks for customer meetings.
• Support forecasting inputs by providing customer insight and sales trends.
• Assist in coordinating trade shows, seasonal previews, and buyer meetings.

Qualifications & Experience

• 1–3 years of account management experience in consumer packaged goods.
• Strong phone presence and comfort conducting outbound calls.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, and basic sales reporting.
• A strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a small, collaborative team.
• A genuine passion for food, hospitality, and the Provisions brand.

Success in This Role Looks Like

• Key account and Specialty channel grows through consistent outreach and thoughtful account development.
• Customer issues are resolved proactively, with high satisfaction and repeat business.
• Sales leadership receives reliable data and customer insights to improve forecasting.
• The revenue pipeline is healthier, more predictable, and organized.

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
