**Job Description**:
Alpha is currently seeking a Service Technician for calibrating and servicing a variety of instrumentation at our Markham service centre. Using your knowledge and proper handling techniques, you will work on a broad range of instrumentation such as temperature/humidity probes and measuring devices, data loggers, multimeters, gauges, calibrators, etc.

Functions/Responsibilities
- Calibrating and servicing a variety of process & HVAC instrumentation
- Commissioning (programming/set-up devices)
- Coordinating incoming instrumentation for calibration or repair
- Provide technical support to customers
- Repair evaluations (order parts, cost estimation)
- Completing customer files (make sure service was completed in accordance with customer requirements)

**Qualifications**:

- Instrumentation Technology Diploma or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in calibration/service
- Effective trouble-shooting skills in solving technical issues
- Strong verbal/written communication skills and computer skills
- Independent, self motivated
- Outgoing, friendly, team player
- Positive attitude
- Organized, detail oriented, ability to multi-task
- Ability to deal clearly, concisely, and effectively with customers and co-workers
