**POSITION OVERVIEW**

We are currently looking for a full-time Medical Electronic Service Technician to join our dynamic team on-site at our Markham location. The Medical Electronic Service Technician is responsible for the production, assembly, testing, soldering and inspection of small electronic medical devices, ensuring that each medical device works correctly.
- Full-time/permanent position
- Monday - Friday work week
- 7:00am to 3:30pm
- Ability to work overtime when required.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Set up production machinery and equipment
- Prepare incoming inspection, production, and other reports
- Ensure safety rules and regulations are followed, including ISO 13485 quality management and regulatory requirements of Health Canada and other jurisdictions, such as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration of CE marking for the EU
- Examine and evaluate electronic equipment, components and assemblies utilizing a variety of electronic testing tools such as multimeter, circuit testers, oscilloscopes, logic probes and other related instruments and equipment.
- Calibrate, align, substitute and/or med electronic equipment, assemblies and components in accordance with equipment manuals, schematics and utilizing various hand and power tools
- Install, service and troubleshoot medical electronic equipment, including radio frequency devices, and assemble associated accessories

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Professional Degree in Biotechnology, Engineering, Nanotechnology or related degree
- 2+ years’ experience in Medical Device Assembly, specifically hand assembly of medical, neurosurgical devices is required
- 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing neurosurgical and RF devices is a must.
- Previous experience working repetitively with very small parts (i.e., needles, cannulas, wires, casings etc.)
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting and meeting quotas is a must.
- Ability to follow detailed instruction and learn on the job.
- Previous experience using a microscope to solder small and fine items is an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.60-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
