Overview:
We are seeking an in house Homework Helper/Tutor to provide assistance and support to elementary students. Most of them resident at Vancouver West area (Kerrisdale, Kitsilano, Shaunnaussy, Arbutus, Dunbar) This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals with experience working with children in educational settings such as classrooms or tutoring. University students are welcome to apply.

**Responsibilities**:

- Engage and interact with children in a positive and nurturing manner
- Assist with homework assignments and provide educational support

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working with children in educational settings, such as classrooms or tutoring
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children and parents
- Ability to create a structured and supportive learning environment
- Knowledge of age-appropriate activities and educational resources
- Excellent organizational skills to manage household tasks efficiently

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week

**Benefits**:

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- teaching: 1 year (preferred)
