**JOB SUMMARY**:
Under the supervision of the Controller, the Assistant Controller will be responsible for the full accounting cycle, managing the company’s financial reporting process and be a key contributor to systems and process improvements.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Bank reconciliations
- GST/QST Monthly reports
- Process accounts payable including verification of import shipment invoices
- Performing journal entries and month end adjustments
- Review and analysis of GL accounts
- Assist with monthly, quarterly and year end FS
- Help Implement and maintain internal financial controls to ensure the integrity of financial information and safeguard company assets
- Support project-based requirements

**SKILLS AND ABILITIES**:

- 3-4 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis
- CPA designation an asset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication in French & English required
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Knowledge of SAP B1 an asset

Sous la supervision du contrôleur, le contrôleur adjoint sera responsable du cycle comptable complet, de la gestion du processus d'information financière de l'entreprise et contribuera de manière décisive à l'amélioration des systèmes et des processus.

**RESPONSABILITÉS PRINCIPALES**:

- Réconciliation bancaire
- Rapports mensuels sur la TPS/TVQ
- Traiter les comptes créditeurs, y compris la vérification des factures d'importation.
- Effectuer les écritures de journal et les ajustements de fin de mois
- Examen et analyse des comptes GL
- Aider à l'établissement des états financiers mensuels, trimestriels et de fin d'année
- Contribuer à l'établissement de rapports financiers complets
- Répondre aux exigences des projets.

**COMPÉTENCES ET APTITUDES**:

- 3 à 4 ans d'expérience en comptabilité ou en analyse financière
- Le titre de CPA est un atout
- Solides compétences en matière d'analyse et de résolution de problèmes et souci du détail.
- Excellente communication écrite et orale en français et en anglais.
- Connaissance approfondie de Microsoft Office et Excel
- Connaissance de SAP B1 un atout
