**Responsibilities**:

- Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
- Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
- Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
- Provide technical support and advice on Management accountant
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
- Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers
- Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
- Assist with tax audits and tax returns
- Plan, assign and review staff’s work
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a financial controller
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
- Knowledge of Oracle - Netsuite

- Notre client, établi dans le domaine de l'importation et de la distribution de vêtements, est actuellement à la recherche d'un contrôleur expérimenté pour superviser les opérations de comptabilité générale en contrôlant et en vérifiant nos transactions financières.

Les tâches du contrôleur consistent également à garantir l’exactitude et l’efficacité de toutes nos tâches comptables.

Responsabilités
- Vérifier, répartir, comptabiliser et rapprocher les comptes payables et recevables
- Produire des rapports comptables sans erreurs et présenter leurs résultats
- Analyser les informations financières et résumer la situation financière
- Repérer les erreurs et suggérer des moyens d'améliorer l'efficacité et les dépenses.
- Fournir un support technique et des conseils sur le comptable en management
- Examiner et recommander des modifications aux systèmes et procédures comptables
- Gérer les assistants comptables et les teneurs de livres
- Préparer les états financiers et produire le budget selon le calendrier
- Aider aux contrôles fiscaux et aux déclarations de revenus
- Planifier, attribuer et examiner le travail du personnel
- Prise en charge du processus de clôture de fin de mois et de fin d'année
- Développer et documenter les processus commerciaux et les politiques comptables pour maintenir et renforcer les contrôles internes.

Exigences
- Expérience avérée en tant que contrôleur financier
- Connaissance approfondie des procédures comptables de base
- Familiarité avec les états comptables financiers
- Expérience avec les fonctions de grand livre général et le processus de clôture de fin de mois/fin d'année
- Précision et souci du détail
- Aptitude aux chiffres et compétences quantitatives
- Connaissance d'Oracle - Netsuite

Doit être local à la grande région de Montréal. Doit être admissible à travailler au Canada sans avoir besoin de parrainage
