Window Screen Installer

Doctor Screen Greater Victoria is looking for a dedicated and skilled **Mobile Window Screen Installer** to join our team If you're a self-starter with excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to quality work, we want to hear from you.

As a Mobile Window Screen Installer, you will be responsible for travelling to customer locations throughout the Greater Victoria area to install custom and retractable window and door screens. This is a unique opportunity to work independently, **effectively manage your schedule and appointments**, and provide essential services to our valued clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate and drive a large company vehicle to various customer locations.
- Accurately measure, cut, and assemble custom window and door screens on-site.
- Install retractable screens according to manufacturer specifications.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any installation challenges or issues that may arise.
- Manage and maintain inventory within the service vehicle.
- Perform general labor duties as required to support installations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the vehicle and at customer sites.

Skills & Qualifications:

- **Comfortable with driving and parking large vehicles** (e.g., high-roof vans).
- **Strong customer service skills** with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- **Ability to troubleshoot and think outside the box** to find practical solutions.
- **Comfortable with power tools** and hand tools for precise measurements and cutting.
- **Able to work alone & unsupervised** with a high degree of self-motivation.
- **Good time management skills** to efficiently complete jobs and manage schedule.
- **Proficient with measurements** and a keen eye for detail; **accuracy is very important.**:

- **Must have pride in good quality work** and a commitment to delivering excellent results.
- **Physical fitness is important as there will be some heavy lifting** involved.
- **Must be bondable** (successful completion of a background check will be required).
- **Comfortable working in all weather conditions** (rain, sun, heat, cold).
- **Comfortable working in tight environments** (e.g., inside a high-roof van, customer homes).

Hours & Compensation:
This is a seasonal role with varying hours based on demand:

- **Peak Season (Spring, Summer, Early Autumn)**: Approximately 40 hours per week (Monday - Thursday, 8-10 hours per day).
- **Non-Peak Season (Late Autumn, Winter)**: Approximately 20-30 hours per week.
- **Compensation**:$24 - $28 per hour** (based on experience and qualifications).
