We have been in business since 1978, and are the largest local manufacturer and installer of quality vinyl windows and patio doors on Vancouver Island.

We are hiring window and door installers with a willingness to learn, follows our standard operating procedures, are punctual, reliable and come to work with a positive cheerful attitude.

This job provides interaction with customers almost daily, some heavy lifting and use of ladders and scaffolding (_no fear of heights is tolerable)_ noting safety for our employees and the general public is critical.

**Primary duties include**:

- loading and unloading products to and from installation trucks
- removal of windows and doors
- preparing and cleaning up job sites before and after installations
- following all safety and Covid protocols in place
- other duties as assigned from time to time

**Qualifications**:

- valid BC Driver’s License in good standing preferred, but not mandatory
- knowledge of materials handling and construction site safety is important, but will be taught on site
- willingness to take instruction and constructive feedback
- ability to deal effectively with the public in a pleasant and courteous manner

**Other things you'll want to know**:

- installers start at 7:00am to 3:30pm, noting hours can vary, depending on the project and scope of work
- we generally work Monday to Friday, with daily paid overtime
- occasional weekend work is sometimes necessary, with overtime extended
- probationary period of 3 months
- the installer will take direction from the lead installers, and report to our Installation Manager

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
