**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Remain safety conscious at all times, wearing all required PPE and by observing all safety rules stated in the Employee handbook, operating procedures and relevant regulations
- Able to perform duties with mínimal or no supervision if needed
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and members of management
- Exhibit teamwork by working cohesively with the operations team to continuously improve.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Complete NCRs and participate in root cause analysis.
- Perform inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies or finished company products according to well defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical and / or electrical measurement devices.
- Reject subassemblies or finished products as required.
- Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing in ERP System.
- Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
- Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to Production Supervisor.
- Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
- Any other duties requested by your Supervisor.
- 10 hour shift Monday - Thursday.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS**
- 1-3 years’ experience as a Quality Inspector.
- Background in welding & fabrication would be considered as an asset.
- A good understanding of the CSA Welding Codes 47.1 & 59.1 would be an asset.
- Valid G license with own vehicle
- Excellent communication skills, able to speak and read English
- Able to lift up to 22kgs or 50lbs
- Able to stand and walk throughout the shift
- Punctual, reliable and responsible

**JOB TYPE**

Will commensurate with experience and qualifications

**Salary**: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
