THE OPPORTUNITY
BBE is actively seeking a full-time Sales Account Manager - Pharma & Healthcare to join our dynamic sales team. This is an important role as it is the face of BBE and a valued member of our front-line sales management team. A passionate sales leader and brand promoter who is excited to grow their network of clients and diversify their experience is who BBE is looking for. This role ensures that BBE’s strategic sales growth targets and market position are achieved in pharmaceutical and healthcare distribution.
BBE is well positioned to support your individual sales growth through our ‘last mile delivery’ solutions, E-commerce platforms and a powerful network of partners who are also well-positioned to react to challenges faced with air, land, ice and sea deliveries. You will represent the BBE brand, our business, and our people. BBE’s commercial and customer-driven solutions are diverse and have resulted in healthy business growth. You enjoy collaborating with customers to support their needs and establish relationships that last. You work harmoniously on the Business Development team to ensure that messages are aligned with marketing for a unified BBE.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct sales activities according to BBE’s sales plan.
- Manage a mixed sales funnel of short-term, mid-term, and long-term prospects that align with BBE’s ideal client:
- High volume or high value requirements.
- Complex needs.
- Expandable to multiple lines of business.
- Gain access to customers through client referrals or by association.
- Recording and tracking activities in BBE’s CRM.
- Provide Operations with clear and concise information related to client needs when quotes are required.
- Develop and expand opportunities through discovery of client challenges due to current provider or market (industry, regulatory, geographic) gaps that BBE can address.
- Support of team development of opportunities and professional growth, mentoring, and coaching.
- Contribute to and participate in negotiations with customers including contract development, contract renewal and rate or service fee development and implementation.
- Lead account management and commercial terms with assigned clients and support other team members with account management as required.
- Quarterly or periodic business reviews.
- New projects kick off.
- Contract renewal implementations.
- Marketing of BBE’s new features or lines of business, as and when they launch.
- Contribute to BBE’s sales planning and marketing plans.
- Development of strategies and tactics in pursuit of new market spaces.
- Measurement of inputs and outcomes.
- Improvement of strategy, activity to continuously improve success rates.
- Nurture and strengthening relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Participate in individual performance management and personal growth opportunities on a scheduled basis.
- Ensure knowledge remains relevant to requirements, developments, regulatory changes and other matters of influence on Logistics in the Phara/Healthcare Industry.
Corporate Compliance Duties
- Actively participate in QHSETR programs and systems.
- Contribute to BBE's continuous improvement and organizational efficiency goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Commerce, MBA or equivalent post-secondary degree preferred.
- Experience working in Healthcare/Pharma Sales and/or Logistics.
- 5 years previous customer services, sales and distribution experience.
- Commercial agreement management and negotiations, market development, and sales experience in healthcare and pharmaceuticals.
- Understanding of temperature-controlled logistics experience (ambient, cold and cool chain).
- Structured sales training.
