**Job summary**

Reporting to the Human Resources Advisor, the Human Resources Technician provides administrative support to HR operations, organizes and coordinates events and projects to achieve the company's human resources objectives.

**Main responsibilities**
- Actively participate in the overall staffing process for plant, office and intern positions.
- Establish and maintain a partnership with educational institutions as part of our Internship Program.
- Follow up and update all administrative tasks, including the opening and closing of employee files and the creation of IT tickets.
- Collaborate closely with managers to assess recruitment needs and understand the mandate to optimize the process.
- Coordinate and perform all tasks related to welcoming and integrating new employees.
- Organize, coordinate and participate in various events related to the Human Resources department.
- To be a positive force in change management and to inspire mobilization.
- Actively participate in the creation and optimization of HR processes.
- Organize and manage employee recognition programs, employee anniversaries, etc.
- Contribute to the updating of company policies and ensure their implementation.
- Research, organize, and manage external and internal training activities for office employees.
- Collaborate occasionally on special projects.

**Profile required**
- Bachelor's degree, specializing in human resources (an asset)
- At least 1 year of related experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills, in French and English, including professional presentation skills.
