Manage budget, monitor revenues, and modify procedures to ensure profitability

Sizzling Tandoor Restaurant + Cocktail Bar is looking for an enthusiastic and qualified restaurant manager for the recently expanded flagship location.

Sizzling Tandoor which is located on Victoria’s iconic Johnson Street attracting many tourists in the summer and a central hub for locals of all ages and demographics to meet for authentic Indian food in a modern setting. The restaurant also specializes in a superior cocktail, wine and beverage program.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Organize and supervise restaurant operations to ensure guest satisfaction

Create and maintain a positive work environment, fostering teamwork and collaboration

Address customer or concerns

Recruit, train and supervise staff + monitor performance

Perform other related duties as assignment

Quality assurance check

Keep records of inventory, equipment and restocking supplies and arranging equipment maintenance as required

Ensure that food safety regulations are being followed

Participate in marketing plans and implementation

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Previous restaurant management experience for a minimum of 1 year
- Reliable, organized and has an attention to detail
- Able to work under pressure and problem solve
- Ability to work in a team environment providing support and the highest level of service
- Self motivated along with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive, high energy personality that excels working in a fast-paced and evolving environment

Pay: $18.00-$26.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
