**JOB DESCRIPTION: QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER**

As a Quality Assurance Manager at Aspire, you'll play a vital role in ensuring compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and food safety standards. Your focus will be on overseeing implementation, providing guidance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement to maintain industry-leading food safety systems.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- **System Oversight**:Lead the implementation and maintenance of QMS and food safety systems, ensuring compliance with GFSI standards.
- **Audit Compliance**: Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring corrective actions are implemented promptly and effectively.
- **Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure adherence to government and company regulations and policies, providing support for food safety incidents and customer complaints.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Foster a quality culture and drive continuous improvement processes throughout the organization.
- **Cross-functional collaboration**: Collaborate with R&D, production, and sales teams to facilitate effective product execution and new product development.
- **Documentation and Training**: Establish and document sanitation procedures, and oversee document control, process control, and training systems.
- **Leadership and Development**:Lead and mentor direct reports, providing consistent feedback and support for professional development.
- **Quality Assurance Policies**: Develop and implement quality assurance policies and practices, including testing, validation, and implementation of new equipment, to ensure regulatory and policy requirements are met across all plant operations.
- **Technical Support**: Provide technical support for new quality assurance processes, product development, sanitation matters, and investigation of consumer and customer complaints.
- **SPC and Data Support**: Provide support for operations and R&D with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data analysis when necessary.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- MSc/BSc Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years experience in leading and implementing QA strategies.
- Trained in food safety and quality methods (e.g., Conway, Six Sigma).
- Formal training in GFSI food safety standards and quality management system auditing.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations, HACCP, GMP, and facility/equipment design.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Pay: $85,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
