WHO YOU ARE
- You are a down to earth, friendly, and welcoming hospitality professional. You are gracious,

accommodating, respectful and eager to help our guests and other team members provide an
exceptional customer experience that our Vettä guests will rave about.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Provide an exceptional and welcoming first impression to our guests upon arrival.
- Responsible for welcoming and greeting guests upon arrival.
- Handle all guest enquiries professionally and courteously.
- Checking in guest and record information on the ResortSuite system.
- Receive payment, provide wrist band, assign locker and other items such as bath robes, etc.
- Provide in-depth information on the Spa layout, explanation of pools, saunas, and relaxation

areas.
- Escort guest to locker rooms if requested or assign another associate.
- Coordinate front desk activities including distributing correspondence, answering calls, including

reservations, and redirecting calls to the appropriate area.- Promote all facilities at Vetta Spa, including boutique, restaurants, and amenities, as well as any

promotions or programs.
- Ensure front desk area is always clean and tidy.
- Call Massage Therapist to escort guest to massage area.
- May be required to walk around the spa area to ensure guests needs are being met.
- Willing to be cross trained to work in other areas of the Spa, such as reservations, and the

boutique.
- Other duties that may be required to make Vetta successful

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL
- Proven customer service experience in hospitality, guest services or retail, preferably in a Spa

environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Able to handle guest complaints proactively and respectfully always remaining professional.
- Multitasking, time management and organizational skills.
- Able to work with mínimal supervision, take initiative and be self-motivated.
- Work independently as well as part of a team.
- Attention to detail.
- Must acquire Smart Serve Certification prior to hire
- First Aid/CPR Certificate an asset.
- Second language an asset.
- Knowledge of ResortSuite an asset.
- Required to work a rotating schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

YOUR WORKING CONDITIONS
- Able to work in a fast-paced office environment
- Comfortable sitting, walking, bending, and standing over an 8-hour period
- May be required to lift up to 20lbs
