WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Provide an exceptional and welcoming first impression to our guests upon arrival
- Responsible for welcoming and greeting guests
- Handle all guest enquiries professionally and courteously
- Chick in guests and record information on the ResortSuit system
- Receive payment, provide wrist band, assign items such as bathrobes, towels, etc.
- Provide in-depth information on the spa layout, explanation of pools, saunas, and relaxation areas
- Escort guests to locker room, if requested
- Promote all facilities at Vettä Nordic Spa, including boutique, restaurants, amenities as well as any promotions or programs offered.
- Ensure front desk area is always clean and tidy.
- May be required to walk around the spa area to ensure guests’ needs are met
- Willing to cross train in other departments of the spa such as Front of House and Maintenance, to help if needed.
- Other duties that may be required to make Vettä successful

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL
- Proven customer service experience in hospitality, guest services or retail, preferably in a spa environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to handle guest complaints proactively and respectfully, always remaining professional
- Possess multitasking, time management and organizational skills
- Able to work with mínimal supervision, take initiative, and be self motivated
- Work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Must acquire Smart Serve Certification prior to hire
- Bilingual or multilingual an asset
- Current First Aid Certification as asset
- Knowledge of ResortSuite an asset
- Required to work a rotating schedule (days and afternoons) including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

YOUR WORKING CONDITIONS
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment,
- Comfortable walking, standing, sitting, and bending over an 8-hour period.
- Able to lift max of 20 lbs.
- A tranquil, hydrotherapy paradise located in beautiful Horseshoe Valley surrounded by a mature forest.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
- Satisfactory references and criminal record check
- Must possess a current Smart Serve certificate
- All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada
