**The Position -**

An opportunity currently exists for a Safety Coordinator in our Health and Safety department. The main tasks this position requires include administrative support, on-site touring, and aiding in program development. WF offers a competitive rate and benefits (after probation period). The position is based in Nisku.
- Have a strong working knowledge of Alberta OH&S Legislation.
- Have strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Overseeing administration of the company safety program, including tracking certifications, scheduling training, and maintaining safety records.
- Maintain our COR certificate through the MHSA audit tool.
- Oversee WCB reporting, liaise with WCB staff, injury and claim management, and transport to medical clinics.
- Assisting in monitoring and maintaining client pre-qualification, including ISN, ComplyWorks, and Avetta.
- Participating in and conducting safety meetings; ensure accurate minutes are recorded.
- Support field crews and transportation division.
- Oversee administration of Safety observation data.
- Enforcing company rules and safe work practices.
- Have a regular and visible HSE presence in production facilities. Participation and documenting workplace inspections, hazard assessments, incident investigations, and implementation of corrective actions.
- Participation in the Joint Health and Safety Committee.
- Be aligned with company safety culture and have a proactive attitude for safety. Ensure work areas are operating safely.
- Take every reasonable precaution to protect themselves and all staff at WF sites.
- Must refuse unsafe work if a dangerous situation presents itself.
- Immediately report any work interruption, incidents, uncontrollable hazardous conditions, quality, or other safety concerns to their supervisor.

You will join our company with highly developed communication skills in English, both in written and verbal situations. Exceptional fluency in Microsoft Office is highly recommended.

**Salary**: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
