**INVESTIGATION, ASSESSMENT AND ONGOING WORKER**
**Eighteen (18) Month Full-time Contract Position in New Liskeard**

As a member of the Investigation, Assessment and Ongoing team, your primary responsibilities will be to provide a broad spectrum of children’s services. These services may include, but are not limited to, providing preventative and child protection services to children and families, completing risk assessments, developing protection plans and completing the required documentation necessary for determining disposition.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS (QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS)**:

- An MSW or BSW is preferred (a College Diploma in Social Services may be considered along with other relevant university degrees or diplomas deemed suitable by the Executive Director).
- Experience working with children, youth and families is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Must be willing and able to work flexible hours as required.
- Must be willing to travel as required.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is required.
- Must have a valid G Class driver’s licence and use of own vehicle.

À titre de membre de l’équipe des Services d’enquête et d’évaluation et des Services continus, vos responsabilités principales seront de fournir un large éventail de services à l’enfance. Ces services peuvent comprendre, mais non de façon limitative, fournir des services préventifs et de protection de l’enfance aux enfants et aux familles, faire des évaluations des risques, élaborer des plans de protection et rédiger la documentation nécessaire pour déterminer la décision à prendre.

**EXIGENCES DE L’EMPLOI (QUALITÉS ET COMPÉTENCES REQUISES)**:

- De préférence, une maîtrise en travail social ou un baccalauréat en travail social (on pourrait considérer un diplôme collégial en travail social, de même que d’autres grades ou diplômes universitaires jugés convenables par le directeur général).
- De l’expérience de travail auprès des enfants, des jeunes et des familles est considérée comme un atout.
- La capacité d’interpréter et d’appliquer les exigences pertinentes prévues par la loi.
- Excellentes aptitudes à communiquer, excellent entregent et excellent sens de l’organisation.
- Doit être disposé et capable de travailler selon des horaires flexibles en fonction des besoins.
- Doit être disposé à voyager selon les besoins.
- Le bilinguisme (anglais et français) est requis.
- Permis de conduire valide de la catégorie G et utilisation de son propre véhicule.
