As an HR generalist, you will join our team to support our mission of designing and installing residential and commercial solar projects, energy storage solutions, Tesla Powerwall installations, electric vehicle (EV) chargers, off-grid solar, and general electrical services.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Providing guidance and support to all staff and management on Human Resources related matters
- Recruiting and onboarding employees
- Creating, updating and implementing corporate policies and procedures
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety, labour laws and employment standard regulations
- Compiling and managing all required documentation from staff and management as needed
- Executing the performance management program on a semi-annual basis
- Maintaining and advising on company benefits
- Tracking of absences (_vacation, sick days, leaves, etc_.)
- Monitoring and tracking the safety training and learning & development needs of all staff
- Researching any new developments within the Human Resources field and any legislation
- Reporting on the key performance indicators of all departments

**REQUIREMENTS & ASSETS**:

- Chartered Professional in Human Resources designation (CPHR) (or working towards)
- 3-5+ years of experience
- Proficiency in MS Office (_MS excel, word, etc.)_
- Exceptional communication, time management and leadership skills
- Excellent creative and technical writing skills would be an asset
- Previous work in a small team setting where you have had the ability to recruit staff in various fields of work would be an asset as well
