YOUR MAIN OBJECTIVES

As an Intern within the Sales department, you will support on the following:
Provide pricing proposals to customers managed by the Outside Sales team mainly on Exports and Imports.

Communicate with customers and internal departments. Follow up on quotes offered.

Coordinate rate issues and information to internal departments for execution of operations and invoicing.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Promote, support and guide customers to effectively use the different CMA CGM’s digital tool for quotations,

Maintain quotes and business support to the Customer portfolio of the Outside Sales & Specialized Sales team and to the new customers via the Sales mailbox and with incoming calls,

Make proactive phone sales calls to follow-up with customers on quotations sent but without bookings, including CMA CGM Liner and CMA CGM + services,

Coordinate closely with the Trade team to ensure consistent business support to customers as required commercially,

Promote CMA CGM Group services including non-maritime products (CMA CGM + or VAS, Intermodal, E-commerce, CEVA, etc..)

Propose volume potential and new opportunities to the Outside Sales team when we receive interesting leads or new Customers that need to be prospected.

YOUR PROFILE

**Education**: Currently completing - or recent graduate - a College degree or equivalent. A specialization in international trade or transportation and logistics is a plus.

**Experience**: a first Sales support/Customer care internship or work experience, ideally in the shipping or logistics industry is an asset.

**Other**:
Good communication and interpersonal skills

Attention to detail, well versed in the Microsoft Windows suite

Strong team player with ability to work independently

Ability to multi task and prioritize time sensitive issues

Very good communication in English, oral and written, and ideally bilingual in French.
