**Job description**

We are a professional trucking company based in Mississauga which specializes in delivering its customer's assets across North America. We are seeking a well-rounded individual able to work in a fast-paced environment to join the dispatch operations team who must be fluent in both English and Punjabi. The position covers various aspects of dispatching including communicating with drivers, customers and customs officials as well as reporting to the company officers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Planning and assigning loads to the long-haul resources and assets
- Dispatch drivers on planned trips
- Communicate with drivers to keep everything on track
- Communicate with outside carriers/customers for securing loads
- Negotiate rates directly with customers and vendors
- Handle customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Preparing ACE, ACI and other dispatch related paperwork
- Manage Customs documents and records
- Knowledge of Loadlink is required
- Fluent in both English and Punjabi
- Good understanding of USA, Canada, GTA geography

**Requirements**:

- Verifiable experience related to highway dispatch in the transportation industry
- Detail oriented team player with the ability to coordinate and plan with the department peers for effective and efficient dispatch of company resources
- Strong verbal & written communication skills with the ability to actively listen and timely transmission of the information
- Must be able to communicate with drivers and customers diligently and efficiently
- Ability to manage high stress situations calmly and effectively
- Outstanding organization, documentation and telephone skills
- Knowledge of DOT and MTO hours of service regulations
- Sound knowledge of MS OFFICE (Word and Excel)
- Salary may vary based on experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
