POSITION FUNCTION

The Project Coordinator will function to support project management office. This will include project management coordination and tracking of new site start up, growth of existing sites, growth of therapeutic area capabilities including new physician or strategic partnerships, site technology consolidation, or other projects as necessary.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Project Management Coordination
- For any assigned Project, collaborate with Senior Research Management to outline project scope, risks, essential items and timelines in a clear manner using Project Management tools
- Create a Project Tracker template, and customize to each project that is underway
- Complete follow-up of items within the Project Tracker or assigned system, source out updates prior to deadlines, and maintain up-to-date information at all times
- With support from Senior Research Management, identify any areas of the Project that are at risk of delay or failure, determine source of risk (e.g. staffing support, sponsor delay), and implement contingency plan or project plan adjustment
- With support from Senior Research Management, facilitate communication of key project outcomes, accomplishments, and adjustments to stakeholders
- Areas of Projects may include (but not limited to)
- New Site Start (de novo or merger)
- New Therapeutic Area Start
- New Technology Systems, Implementation, or migration
- New strategic partnerships
- Must be able to balance multiple project priorities simultaneously and shift focus quickly as priorities change
- Must be an strong communicator, work proactively, and facilitate multi-level collaboration

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

**Minimum**: Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent, required

**Preferred**: Post secondary education or certification in project management, 1-2 years experience working within the Clinical Research field.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Physical demands include but not limited to prolonged sitting, light lifting, standing, reaching, walking, and bending.
- Frequently required to complete work on the computer in a seated position
- May be required to lift light boxes (10 - 20lbs)

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Modern medical office environment or home office environment; remote
- Required to follow OSHA and CCOHS guidelines, in addition to other local healthcare regulations
- Required to perform duties in relation to HIPAA, PIDEDA, and other local privacy regulations
- Some positions may require overnight/weekend hours
